On the Multivariate Gamma-Gamma (ΓΓ) Distribution with Arbitrary Correlation and Applications in Wireless Communications

چکیده
The statistical properties of the multivariate GammaGamma (ΓΓ) distribution with arbitrary correlation have remained unknown. In this paper, we provide analytical expressions for the joint probability density function (PDF), cumulative distribution function (CDF) and moment generation function of the multivariate ΓΓ distribution with arbitrary correlation. Furthermore, we present novel approximating expressions for the PDF and CDF of the sum of ΓΓ random variables with arbitrary correlation. Based on this statistical analysis, we investigate the performance of radio frequency and optical wireless communication systems. It is noteworthy that the presented expressions include several previous results in the literature as special cases.

An efficient solution for management of pre-distribution in wireless sensor networks
A sensor node is composed of different parts including processing units, sensor, transmitter, receiver, and security unit. There are many nodes in a sensor unit. These networks can be used for military, industrial, medicine, environmental, house, and many other applications. These nodes may be established in the lands of enemies to monitor the relations. Hence, it is important to consider conse...
متن کاملFading correlation and analytical performance evaluation of the space-diversity free-space optical communications system
This paper investigates fading correlation in space-diversity free-space optical (FSO) communication systems and its effect on the link performance. We firstly evaluate the fading correlation in multiple-aperture FSO systems using wave-optics simulations. The influence of different system parameters including the link distance and aperture spacing is illustrated under realistic beam propagation...

Let X1 and X2 be two independent random variables from gamma populations Pi1,P2 with means alphaθ1 and alphaθ2 respectively, where alpha(> 0) is the common known shape parameter and θ1 and θ2 are scale parameters. Let X(1) ≤ X(2) denote the order statistics ofX1 and X2. Suppose that the population corresponding to the largest X(2) (or the smallest X(1)) observation is selected. The problem ofin...

In the following text for arbitrary $X$ with at least two elements, nonempty countable set $Gamma$ we make a comparative study on the collection of generalized shift dynamical systems like $(X^Gamma,sigma_varphi)$ where $varphi:GammatoGamma$ is an arbitrary self-map. We pay attention to sub-systems and combinations of generalized shifts with counterexamples regarding Devaney, exact Dev...
متن کاملMixed Estimators of Ordered Scale Parameters of Two Gamma Distributions with Arbitrary Known Shape Parameters
When an ordering among parameters is known in advance, the problem of estimating the smallest or the largest parametersarises in various practical problems. Suppose independent randomsamples of size ni drawn from two gamma distributions withknown arbitrary shape parameter no_i > 0 and unknown scale parameter beta_i > 0, i = 1, 2. We consider the class of mixed estimators of 1 and 2 under the res...
